Someone once said that when your friends finally realize that you are dedicated to the art of your photographic profession, they immediately ask you to take photographs of their children.

Well, that's OK by us because we love children - of any age from birth to 90 years old.

Photographs of friends, photographs of parents, children, grandchildren. In fact photographs of anyone, help to enhance memories and ensure that they are never far from our thoughts.

 

Ess And Ess does not currently operate a studio - nor do we charge sitting fees. We think that sitting people down in an unfamilliar environment gives a stilted and unnatural image. We also like to use, where possible, natural light. So we use the same techniques for portraits as we would use for our nature and travel photogaphy - getting the best image by being in the right place at the right time.
